How to Apply
To apply for a study abroad course at Delaware Tech, take the following steps:
- Contact the course faculty leader or support faculty to schedule an individual 30 minute interview about the course. See the Study Abroad page for contact information.
- After the initial interview is completed, download and complete the Study Abroad Application (PDF) and schedule an appointment with your campus International Education Coordinators (IEC). At this appointment, you will participate in a 20 minute discussion regarding the study abroad experience and expectations. This can be done in person or virtually.
- You must provide the fully filled out Application to the IEC prior to your meeting. All areas must be filled out and signed in order for you to enroll in the course.
- Upon approval from the IEC, you will be enrolled in the course. The course will appear on your spring schedule, and the travel cost will be applied by the Business Office.
- The IEC will provide you with payment vouchers which are used for all travel cost payments. You must make a $200 non-refundable payment to any Delaware Tech Business Office after you are registered for the course. This should be done by the end of the week after you are enrolled. You cannot participate in the course if you do not make this deposit. Consult your IEC for full payment schedules and amounts.
You are now considered an enrolled participant in the study abroad course. Congratulations!
